What are the Advantages of Laminate Flooring?

If you love the look of hardwood flooring but you’ve been concerned about how well it will hold up with pets, kids or in high traffic areas then this is something you’ve really got to check out.  This is laminate flooring made of the same material as laminated kitchen counter tops.  It is extremely tough, you wouldn’t consider doing this to a wood floor (hammering, scraping).  Installing these flooring systems is incredibly easy, they don’t get nailed or screwed to the flooring underneath.  They actually float on a foam pad like this, which means they can be installed over almost any kind of floor including tile.  And that installation, its gotten even easier.  Some floors now require no glue to put the planks together, they simply interlock, just like that.  You know what?  This flooring goes down so fast that you can start it right after lunch and have it finished in time for a dinner party that evening.
