> How to Create a Non-Slip Sanding Surface
It can be very difficult, not to mention dangerous, to try to sand a piece of wood that's not securely attached to the bench top. Ron offered this simple trick to help ensure that what you're working on does not go flying off the table.
First, Ron dampened the surface of his workbench with water from a spray bottle.
Then he put down a piece of heavy-duty drawer liner.
Finally, he laid his wooden block on top of the liner.
This time, when he tired to sand that same piece of wood, it stayed put.
