Building My Own Pickup Truck
This post is in partnership with GMC. All opinions are my own.
Truth Be Told
Okay, I know what you may be thinking; this blog is a commercial for GMC trucks. So, let me be completely upfront. GMC is a long-standing sponsor and supporter of both the television show and the website. In short, their help makes it possible for me to provide home improvement information and videos at no cost to our viewers and users. The company also loans us an up-to-date vehicle for use in the show.
In return, each year, I create a short video covering some aspect of my experience with my pickup or something else about the truck that’s of interest to me.
Tough But Luxurious
This year, with so many options, features and accessories available for the GMC Sierra, I decided to, hypothetically, build my own version by choosing from the wide array of available options. I discovered that, in addition to being a true workhorse, the modern pickup provides much the same comfort and convenience as a luxury sedan, including remote starting, parking assist and.GPS programming using a smart phone. I also learned about active fuel management systems, hill start assist and more.
If you'd like to see all that a pickup can be, take a look.
